Job description

We are looking for an Application Support for an international project! Syone Client is a French Bank, one of  the 10 largest banks in the world, in Portugal has a large part of its IT operation with 7 thousand people working in IT services for all Group. Recently distinguished by Linkedin as one of the best companies in Portugal for career growth

What you'll do:

  • Manage incidents according to Service Delivery ITIL Standards, and in coordination with other teams, including production teams;
  • Monitor environments and KPIs;
  • Identify recurring Issues and service Request and define action plans to reduce them;
  • Understand the application landscape, develop expertise of the application/s and understand various interfaces involved;
  • Define new practices/processes when needed; Write new procedures and ensure their collective ownership.

Job requirements

What you will need to bring:

  • MSc or BSc;
  • Good understanding of SQL;
  • Good understanding of Linux;
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the financial services industry;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Excellent communication skills.

What will be valued:

  • Good understanding of the ITIL norm and practices;
  • Working experience with Unix and its standard command.
