DevOps Architect

We're looking for a DevOps Architect to join our Projects & Managed Services Unit and participate in several projects and services simultaneously. This person will play a critical role in driving technological innovation, ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and security of the Syone's infrastructure and software deployment processes.

Responsabilities:

• Architect, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure solutions, including Openshift, Kubernetes, Linux Red Hat, and cloud environments (Azure or AWS). Ensure high availability and scalability of systems;
• Implement and optimize DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation using Ansible, and containerization with Docker and microservices architecture;
• Engage in pre-sales activities by preparing proposals, conducting meetings with potential clients, and effectively communicating the value proposition of the company's services;
• Use of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

What you will need to bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Systems Engineering or similar;
• Over 5 years' professional experience as a DevOps;
• Openshift & Kubernetes administration, installation on cloud, VM, and bare-metal environments;
• Linux Red Hat mastery;
• Docker and microservices implementation;
• Ansible automation;
• DevOps pipeline and CI/CD implementation;
• Cloud expertise, particularly in Azure or AWS environments;
• Data Foundation expertise;
  
• CEPH proficiency;
• Ability to prepare and deliver training courses and workshops;
  
• Knowledge and ability to pre-sell (preparing proposals and meetings with potential clients);
• Fluency in Portuguese and in English (ILR Level 3).

Nice to have 

• Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Logstash utilization;
• Helm Chart deployment proficiency;
• Gitlab CI integration experience;
• Terraform expertise for infrastructure as code;
• Python scripting familiarity;
• Ansible Tower or AWX usage.
