Functional Tester

We are looking for a Functional Tester to a challenging project in the financial sector! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through thorough testing and defect identification, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design test cases, execute tests, and report findings to stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

• Review requirements and design specifications to understand product functionality thoroughly.
• Develop comprehensive test cases and test plans based on requirements and design specifications.
• Execute manual test cases meticulously and record test results accurately.
• Identify defects and collaborate closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Report test results and defect status to project stakeholders promptly.
  

What do you need to bring:

• Demonstrated solid understanding of testing fundamentals, including the software development life cycle (SDLC), various testing types, methodologies, and techniques.~
• Ability to execute test cases manually to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards. This includes following test plans diligently and accurately reporting test results.
• Skilled in identifying and reporting defects effectively, providing detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and expected behavior.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of French is a plus.
