Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

We're looking for a talented and motivated DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our development team, collaborating on a daily basis with team members in Portugal and France.

As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in building, maintaining, and supporting the TSP platform, which serves as the foundation for the information systems of our client's subsidiaries. 

What you'll be doing:

• Take operational responsibility for supporting applications and services on a global scale in the cloud, utilizing highly automated service management approaches.
• Focus on removing manual tasks through automation.
• Design and implement infrastructure automation based on cloud technologies.
• Discuss and align with the management team on the best cloud strategy and practices.
• Participate in the design and implementation of resilient cloud applications.
• Develop secure applications using current cybersecurity best practices.
• Work within an agile team that includes members with cross-functional skills.
• Contribute to functional and technical specifications according to internal architecture guidelines.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on new and emerging technologies, patterns, methodologies, and market offerings.
• Create learning sessions to share knowledge and coach other team members on cloud topics.

What do you need to bring?

• Deep knowledge of continuous integration principles and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Terraform, Vault, and YAML language.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud environments, including migrating legacy applications to adopt cloud architecture, cloud storage, DevSecOps, event-driven/microservices architecture, data streaming and integration across multiple platforms, and messaging systems.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting.
• Good knowledge of SOAP and REST services (REST/JSON).
• Curious and proactive in searching for new solutions.
• Critical and constructive in solutions analysis.
• Autonomous, rigorous, with a high level of personal commitment.
• Interest in coaching other team members.
• Fluent in English.
